Diamond the Dog needs a home

This is Diamond! She is a miniature pinscher/chihuahua mix that weighs around 8 pounds and is probably about 1-2 years old.  The way the corners of her mouth turn up, this little cutie looks like she's always smiling! Diamond can be a little shy at first but with a few treats and some patience she will warm up and never want to leave your lap. When she is excited to see you, she does the cutest little dance up on her back two legs. 



Diamond is super willing to please and we expect her to learn basic commands very quickly. She is waiting patiently for her forever home and winning over the hearts of Rocket Dog volunteers, one by one, in the meantime. She is also making lots of dog friends but she won't mind if she's the only dog in the household.


Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! Adopters must complete a questionnaire, personal interview and home visit prior to adopting a Rocket Dog. There is a non-refundable $240.00 adoption fee which helps us defer the cost of spay/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping, food and medication (Rocket Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization and this fee enables us to continue rescuing and helping animals).
